The machining movement can be limited to operate only at each end of the channel or extend to both ends, seamlessly meeting in the middle. This ensures a smooth transition when cutting movements meet in the center of the channel.
Collaboration and Compatibility
Port Expert works seamlessly with Mastercam Mill 3D and Mastercam Router 3D. The user only needs to define the shape of the channel, avoid potentially harmful geometry, and set tool and machining parameters, and Port Expert will take care of the rest. Creating port geometry, such as engine intake and exhaust ports and the rotational ports of pumps and compressor chambers, is easy with Port Expert.
