Mastercam Launch Parameters

With Mastercam startup parameters, you can control the program's startup with specific licenses and features. This is particularly useful with network licenses to ensure that certain workstations use only certain licenses.

Editing the Mastercam Shortcut with Startup Parameters

You can create a separate shortcut to start Mastercam with your desired settings. Edit the shortcut's target by adding the startup parameters you need. For example:

C:\Program Files\Mastercam 202x\mastercam.exe /M2

This command will start Mastercam using only a basic Mill license.

If you want to start Mastercam with both Mill 3D and Lathe licenses, use the following command:

C:\Program Files\Mastercam 202x\mastercam.exe /L1 /M3
