Remote Usage of Local USB-HASP Mastercam License Key

If the Mastercam license is on a purple HASP USB license key, the software can be used on all computers to which the HASP is connected. It's important to remember to take the USB HASP with you when moving from one work computer to another, as Mastercam will only function on the computer to which the HASP is connected.

Mastercam can be installed on as many computers as desired, but it can only be used when the HASP is connected to the specific computer. Upon returning to the original computer, the software will work again once the HASP is reconnected.

Things to Consider:

• Driver Installation:
  If Mastercam is installed on a new computer, the HASP drivers must also be installed.
  The drivers can be found at the following location:
  C:\Program Files\Mastercam 202X\Mastercam\common\HASPUserSetup.exe
  Install the drivers by double-clicking the file.
• Remote Access Limitation:
  The software cannot be used through Windows Remote Desktop with a USB HASP, as the local USB port is not correctly recognized through this connection, preventing the software from functioning.
• Time Settings:
  If the USB HASP is connected to a computer in a different time zone than the original computer, issues may arise. The new computer's time must be later than the previous one from which the HASP was removed. It is recommended to note the time of the computer from which the HASP was removed and ensure the time settings on the computer to which the HASP is connected.
