Camcut is growing and evolving
Camcut Oy continues its growth and strengthens customer service by recruiting a new top expert to their team. In April 2025, Aki Hokkanen joined Camcut as a sales technician. With extensive experience in machining, solid Mastercam expertise, and technical education, Aki is a strong addition to Camcut's expert team. Residing in Säynätsalo, his background combines practical work experience with technical development work. Aki has worked as a machinist and a development manager, among other roles. His Mastercam proficiency has been gained both through work and training. In his free time, Aki enjoys playing floorball, padel, and cycling. A passion for learning and sharing knowledge motivated him to transition to a new role. "After 25 years in the factory, I yearned for new perspectives – now I get to combine my skills with customer work," Aki shares. Camcut's CEO Mikko Vepsäläinen is pleased with the new addition: "We warmly welcome Aki to our dynamic team. He has experience, insight, and a genuine desire to help our customers succeed."

Online Store Constantly Evolving
Camcut's online store is developed based on customer needs, continuously expanding its product range. The latest additions include TruThread gauge products, offering a comprehensive selection of different thread standards now available with pricing information. If a suitable model isn't directly available from stock to meet a customer's need, custom sizes can be tailored.
Additionally, the product range of the online store now includes high-quality carbide tools from Paul Dümmel Werkzeugfabrik GmbH, particularly for the precise machining of small parts. Later this year, the entire product range from Paul Dümmel will be added to the online store. Camcut serves as Dümmel's official importer in Finland and also provides technical support for the products.
Looking to the Future
Camcut continuously develops its operations to better respond to the changing needs of customers. The company has launched a development project to explore the possibilities of new technologies in enhancing customer service and support services.
