UYAR is a modern visual surveillance system designed for monitoring machine tools. The system utilizes advanced video cameras that enable real-time monitoring of the machining process, both on-site from a separate display and remotely via a computer, tablet, or smartphone. This is especially beneficial in unmanned production. The UYAR system's enclosed IP-rated camera comes with illumination and a rotating lens, which ensure excellent image quality in a variety of conditions and provide a comprehensive view of machine parts that would otherwise be hidden without a camera.
The camera functionality can be widely applied to various types of machine tools, such as 5-axis and horizontal machining centers, multi-task lathes, large boring and long milling machines, and gantry milling machines. The surveillance system enables industrial production without constant human presence in FMS lines or during long machine time jobs, like mold machining. This opens up new opportunities for companies looking to offer their clients a view inside the machine or for educational institutions, where it's important for students to observe machining processes simultaneously for teaching purposes.
Through the UYAR camera surveillance system, users can visually monitor machine operations either from a separate display or remotely via internet access. Additionally, real-time video footage can be recorded for later review and can be utilized, for example, in creating promotional or educational materials. This system allows monitoring of machining from different perspectives and offers direct access to the tool magazine and exchange pallets, viewable on an auxiliary display.
The German company UYAR GmbH & Co. KG specializes in industrial camera systems, focusing particularly on solutions installed inside machine tools. These products enhance the efficiency and precision of unmanned production sessions by providing a clear view inside the machine tool, which facilitates quick identification and resolution of potential issues. UYAR cameras are designed to be robust and durable, making them particularly suitable for challenging industrial environments, such as those with heavy use of cutting fluid.
Real-time monitoring capability increases work reliability, as it allows immediate response to problematic situations. The system is modular and can have new features added as needed, such as a RecBox video recorder or an IP encoder, which makes the video feed available in the organization's network environment. Maintenance costs are low, thanks to only one easily replaceable consumable part, a special glass. Additionally, work ergonomics are improved with freely positionable and adjustable displays, reducing the need for operators to work in uncomfortable positions.
The installation of UYAR systems is straightforward and requires minimal resources, whether for a new or previously used machine tool. Integrated cabling in the ball joint further simplifies the installation process. Compared to traditional rotating inspection windows, UYAR cameras provide better visibility and are also a more ergonomic solution. This makes the UYAR system an indispensable tool for both industry professionals and educational institutions seeking advanced ways to demonstrate and monitor machining techniques.
